The Munster Half Marathon took place over the weekend in Blarney, County
Cork. There were four medals for Kerry athletes with Donal O’Callaghan of
An Ríocht 2nd overall in a fantastic time of 1.13.18, he has shown
consistently good times and placings over the course of the season and his
dedication to running is admirable. John Barrett (Gneeveguilla) was 1st
O40 in 1.19.30. Brothers Pat and Mike O’Shea of Iveragh took 1st places in
the O55 and O45 respectively with times of 1.21.40 and 1.21.58
