The Kerry Relay Cross Country competition took place on Sunday in
Cahersiveen, and although the weather stayed dry, the course was very wet
and boggy, so competitors had to work hard to keep upright as well as
negotiate the hilly track! There were some great runs with Gneeveguilla
taking both 1st and 2nd place in the U9 boys’ race and Iveragh U13 boys
taking 1st and 3rd place in their race. Gneeveguilla took the shield for
the overall best club from the 3 days of competition in a very convincing
manner
