huge turnout and Kerry athletes had some good performances

The Junior and Senior Cross Country Season will be under way in a few
weeks with the first event taking place on the Sunday 5th October at the
Demense,Killarney-12noon, the age groups are u10/u12/u14/u16/u18/Novice.
The Cost is e3and there will be medals for top 6 in each race and top 3
teams of 6 in each race. At the County board meeting last Monday evening
the cross country season was discussed and it was felt a good idea if
individual clubs could hold their own cc event prior to the 5th Oct to
familiarise athletes with the events to come and to let the athletes run
the distance they will run in these events.
